I was talking about being fast enough to even compete.

About how long does it take to get to Bowman and Midway?

Your always fast enough. That's why they have negotiations.

Hell just the other night... we had a stock dodge Hemi truck trying to race a big tire, big block car.........and the race almost happened, except I think the big tire car got scared.

Orangeburg sucks!!! Thats the only track we have ever had any problems at with traction. I have run at Dorchester, Carolina, Boman, Lowcounrty and had the same 60's till I go to Orangeburg and spin. I have literly left Orangeburg and went straight to Boman and hooked at Boman all day and couldnt hook any at Orangeburg.
Plus dealing with the clowns at the track there isnt worth the hassle.

Thats not too shabby. I have to get a set of drag radials or slicks and some rims to put them on, so it will probably be a while.

man are you serious? nobody is on here talking about ProMods. We are talking about local racers who go to the tracks every week.

do you have a car from Vanishing Point or are you just nutswinging? or do you have anything at all?

hey man- dorchester does bracket races every now and then, midway does them all the time, bowman has some races too.
but there are plenty of people who will "grudge race" each other for free at any of the tracks. just come out and i am sure you will have a good time no matter where you go.

I'm still curious as why no one is open on Saturday. I'll be out, it will be about a month though. Sunday is tough to get out there.

That's a hike from Goose Creek. I don't have a trailer, we have to drive the car and truck to carry the tires that I don't have.

yeah, that would be a long way then. i thought Midway ran on Saturdays last year- did that change?? Or have i lost my mind? I thought i remembered testing there on Saturdays to go to Dorchester on Sunday's. Could be wrong though.
I know for sure i did that the night before i ran Michael Harmon but maybe that was a special event.

Am I missing something, the Bowman track says its in Orangeburg. Are they two separate tracks?

Yes two seperate tracks....here is the link to orangeburgh

Bowman is right outside of Bowman, and is literally in Orangeburgh. So instead of confusing everyone they started calling it Bowman.

just curious- and that was not directed at jay 99z- he just reminded me to ask the question.

i often hear people in the staging lanes complaining about the track prep and i want to tell them- it's not the track. your car sucks, your suspension sucks, you can't drive, and those are just a couple of the reasons you are a fucking turtle.

/rant
amennnn i have always liked dorchester... the same things used to be said about orlando speed world... but i never had issues there either.

I was only there for an hour and a half and only a few bikes ran before something happened & the track was down for over an hour. Heard they had just got back up and running after cleaning up a bike wreck that took about 1.5 hours. Took me about 15 - 20 min just to get parked & then I had to wade through the sea of people there.

It wasn't too bad early. My brother and I had at least 4 passes each in before 6.

After that there was an average of an hour wait to make a pass with all the bikes. I don't think I have ever seen so many people; must of been 5k+ people there.

and half them wouldn't get out the road...... piled up on top of the staging lanes and the return road.
