Put a new pan, pump, pickup and drive shaft in yesterday. have 45 psi with a wore out half dead cordless drill turning the pump. Checked and made sure I had oil pressure to both turbos also. All is well.

The new pan it touching the steering rack so I gotta address that problem now. Also I think I still mave have another problem. I dont think the heads are getting as much as oil as they should. I am not sure if its due to the oil being fed to the turbos??? or if there is another problem. I pulled the oil cap off one valve cover to look in while the engine was runnign yesterday and it just didnt seem to be getting much oil to the top..

Are you using oil restricters ? I used a -3 oil restrictor on my 76 and never once had a problem...stock oil pump. Everything ive read said a -4 could blow the turbo seal out. Just and idea....
