thats what id do. i dont have a LS1 but it is a great motor. makes awesome power. i give chevy props on these motors.

They spin the hell out of some bearings... but they also make cars like this run175mph in the 1/8th. I know he runs in ORSCA

That is actually an LT1 car. But that is a carb'd ls1 intake manifold, coil packs, and maybe plug wires.

Anything can run big numbers with the right amount of money. LS1,4.6,351,302,350 so on and so for. You just have to do you homework and come up with the right combo.

not what i ment. its a pushrod v8 with state of the art combustion chambers, port design, and ram tuning. same as the hemi. both engines make alot more hp per ci than engines of the 70s

and you can easly compare fords mod motors to the 427 soch of yesteryear

ok, i'm confused, i thought Matt posted something from fastgm, you asking for a valve spring tool to change valve springs. so i thought it was done

im helping a buddy with a cam swap on his ls1 this weekend, i got the tool to change the springs with the heads off but i need the tool to take the valve springs off with the heads on, im not strokin ray
