Yup, there were 03-04 cobras that ran 14-15 second 1/4 mile runs. All that shiny bling bling show car bull**** and twitty aunch rimzz must have slowed them down.

I also remember a Lightning out there in front of Colonial Mall showing them how to do burn the tires down infront of the mall on hwy 17 and keep it straight!!!

I was just thinking if I drove to Myrtle Beach from pretty much anywhere (especially in anything considered a drag or fast car) I wouldn't be to inclined to then drive another two hours to race my car then drive the same two hours to get back.

Especially if there is any previously mentioned barely legal girl gettin!

That said I was more just joking around about the good ol fox four bangin lx stangs.

Paul. I agree with you. They started 2 hours earlier this year and the track still didn't get it together, with teching cars and getting started at a decent time. Then when they get their shit together and Mother Nature moves in!

It has been worse years back. That's why they tried to start it earlier. Still the track dropped the ball.

Nevertheless, I'll be there drag night if nothing else but to see evolution, strictly and fastlane battle it out with some nasty street cars.

Palmetto is involved. They called me and asked me if I was interested in purchasing it....Nope. If it was a real Saleen. Maybe. LOL. SMS (Steve Saleen) is going to release his car line in 2011. More impressive vehicle compared to Saleen Inc.

Thinking of heading up there tomorrow morning for the meet and greet at PH. Anyone know if it normally has a good showing (as it is a Tuesday durning "normal" work/business hours) and anyone else in the area heading up that way tomorrow or intrested in doing so?
