It's a good thing your employer doesn't require drug testing.

So you run low 11's with shitty tires and a broke gas pedal, and you want them to run street tires?

I really think it will be a good race with you on street tires and them on slicks. If you are able to come out the hole hard, pretty sure these trucks can't touch you or Jay. Maybe Mitch will think otherwise though.

If I can get my converter swapped out this week I'll run you street tire vs street tire at Dorchester.

My car is a mid 7/11 car on street tires, I'm not dare going to try to race a built truck on slicks with me on street tires. If he's willing to run drag radial to drag radial I might be willing to do a motor to motor run.....as in I won't spray. He will cut short times of 1.5-1.6 on slicks and I'd be lucky to cut a 1.7/1.8 on drag radials, I'd be giving up .2-.4 before the race even got started. If you really want to run drag radials vs. slicks I guess I'm still down but not for money.....

Kevin these trucks won't do better than 1.7 on drag radials. At least thats the best I can do at Dorchester. Remember we are stuck with shitty Nitto tires.

....and I'm sure they will run no money,

Mitch on slicks in the silver truck and you on drag radials. Sounds like we have a race

Then we should be even, that's what I'll cut on my drag radials best case scenario.......

not true most of your time comes after the 60' thats why these trucks need to cut some serious 60's to keep up with you.

Unfortunately I don't think 1/8th mile is enough to overcome getting raped out the hole by one of these trucks, but hell if you guys want to have fun I'm down.......

That's not quite true . My Cobra didn't start running good times til I could leave hard (ie: better 60fts ) .

Your car may be a little different then Kevin's.

Look at his mph, if my truck had enough power for 107 in the 1/8th I would be running deep 6's somewhere around 6.20.

It's my opinion that he is making up all his time on the big end. He must be thinking the same thing since he knows he would easily catch us in the 1/4.

Hahaha, no mine is pretty similar. I didn't start running good times and big mph until I could leave hard. I'd run 95-97 mph on street tires, but 99-101 on ET Streets. On the spray it was 103-107 depending on bottle pressure and launch. With the warm weather and street tires I'd be suprised to trap much more than 96 on motor and 100 on spray.
