There are going to be fast trucks running in the tow rig class. This class is just for fun, hell all of this is for fun.
If you dont want to run your truck, then dont. But I encourage you to come out and have some fun with everyone else, win or lose.

I need to quit racing the Dodge honestly. Ive broken 3 input shafts in the last few months (two in one week) and its getting a lil bit old pulling that tranny and transfer case out lol.
I did get the big upgraded shaft last time though so we'll see.

Of his old setup yea there are a few around. But im letting no birdies out of the bag until he makes passes on the new bad ass setup. He'll tell all im sure, but all I can say as of now is that big 5000 lb + ram is gonna be a bad bitch.

they are old, and not "up armored" they are pretty bare bones. i think the turret makes more aerodymanic drag than the weight of the truck.
they only weigh ~6k each, one was on a two car trailer by itself one hooked to my truck is on a normal (3500# axles) trailer. it has a steel deck, so it holds up better than wood. but it's really too much weight for that trailer. most newer deisel trucks tip ~7000#'s, and my 2006 CTD is a pathetic pooch, it's pretty slow. i blew up my 2004 CTD twice, with a downloader. long story, but I don't mod diesels much any more i get 15~18mpg, so i don't worry about it. i think i got 10~12 pulling the nova in the 24 ft enclosed trailer @ 70.
