Thanks guys for the comments and support throughout. It felt great getting that slip, these big rigs make you work for every .00x, thats for sure.

As for whats next, Carl is on the right path. Likely looking to get some weight off the front. It's also getting tough to figure out what RPM i'm at as the tach only goes to 6k and from there it's a guessing game. I really need to be able to hit shifts, so i'm thinking a small light would be my best bet. No big tach going in the DD, not going to happen.

I thought I nailed the 4.8 record, but my boy raised the bar on me two weeks ago when he bested his 10.91 to a 10.79@130. I give him a lot of respect, but I might be able to snag that slip soon enough. Well see, I had a blast last night so i'm not done yet.

Also STILL have the stock LS6 valve springs and stock timing chain with 94k miles on it. Little over due, but I got a ls2 chain and good springs to install.

I don't know much about cars in general......but an idea.....

Since your body style is the same as the SS truck.....wouldn't the gauge cluster be a direct swap? Which shows 8k on my tbss, so pretty sure the true would to.....

Just throwing it out there.
