Charger is plenty sufficient. We aren't chasing modded F-body's, L's and Corvettes.

I dont know what Chevy is trying to do, Chargers already have a solid foot hold in the 4 door rear wheel drive category, I saw an unmarked one the other day. I thought I heard the the crown Victoria is getting dumped by Ford. Mustang seems to be the choice for 2 door interceptor type cars. Saw a bunch in New England. I dont now how the contracts work, or how long they last. I would assume chevy would need to make these cars quickly and cheaper to get precincts to buy them over the Charger? With the absence of the Crown Vic its going to either the Charger or the Caprice, or both?

355hp 384ft lbs tq and 10.4:1 compression ratio. Not a bad starting platform for using as a motor swap i suppose. 87 octane too. 6speed automatic transmission.
I can see these cars in the future with some heavy mods racing at local tracks.

Here's a sick thought for ya: Just wait until some of these go to police auctions in a few years. You're going to see them all hooptited up with the big 24s.
![]() Q: Ever wonder why retired police cars are so popular with the hoodrat crowd? A: They always wanted to know what it was like to ride in the front of one for a change!

I like the regular version of it. It's just a G8.
The Lumina SS is nice as well.
