Lisa and I are going to do it. I need to start running this weekend. It's going to be hell trying to get back into it.

I'm fat and I can run a 11 min mile and a half. We run 3 5k's a week and I'm usually done in about 25-26 mins.

It's all about breathing. That and not drinking the night before hahaha

I have ran the bridge before and it sucks! Running across it intially wasnt bad, but coming back across up that long steep hill had me wanting to say fuck this and jump off.

25-26 minutes should be faster than an 11.5 minute mile.

My first goal is 185lbs and less than 30 minute 5k. I pretty close to getting under 30 minutes, but ive still got 15lbs to go.

When is it? I've been wanting to do that for a while.

My best 5k so far was 20 min something. It's all mental. I just focus on the person in front of me and say I'm not gonna let them beat me.

I'm about 40lbs heavier than last time I ran, which was about 14yrs ago. I'm going to keep running and try to get that 40lbs off. I really didn't think I could possibly be as slow as I was. 14 min mile

It's really not that hard, if you could run a sub 8 minute mile I would be more impressed.

Run a 5k then see what your timed mile jumps too. Peter.
