clemson's real test is going to be GT, who its looking like they're going to have to play twice. I could honestly give 2 shits if we beat carolina or not as long as they make it to the ACC Championship game, and possibly to the Orange bowl, Going to a BCS bowl would do wonders for recruiting

and its a good possibility they will both be ranked in the top 10, its going to be a high scoring game, carolina's defense is going to have a hard time with clemson if boyd stays healthy

Clemson backup QB Stoudt practices with 1st team

Cole Stoudt will get a lot more work in practice as No. 8 Clemson's starting quarterback this week as banged-up Tajh Boyd recovers from a hip strain suffered against Boston College last Saturday.

Tigers offensive coordinator Chad Morris says Stoudt performed well as an untested freshman in the second half after Boyd left with strained hip, an injury that appeared much more serious than it turned out. Morris says Boyd told him he'd be ready to play on Saturday at Maryland for the Tigers (6-0, 3-0 Atlantic Coast Conference).

Morris, though, says Stoudt will likely see the most time with starters in early workouts as Boyd deals with the soreness from the hard hit by Boston College defensive end Max Holloway. X-rays showed no significant damage.
