That boat is much more expensive than I thought it would be.

You are not familiar with boston whaler's, are ya? Probably the most expensive mass produced boat for the size, minus maybee edgewater, and they are the same quality as the whalers......

nice larry! I went to larry looking at a new 2012 210sxf. That boat was/is perfect for all around functionality. Plus the wifey loved the big lounge seat up front. I will definently buy one one day. Seriously..why buy a fbody when one can afford a corvette? lol Thats the way I look at it.

I'm glad I didnt purchase when I could have larry. Would have been in quite a pickle now seeing that I've been out of work for 2 months lol. Next spring might be the time though and if so I'll definently be giving you a call again bud.

Boston Whaler's were pioneers in the 70's and 80's when they would cut their boats into pieces with chainsaws, fill them full of people and water, etc, and they would still float. I would pay for that, as I have never seen another boat manufacturer (including grady white) make an unsinkable claim that they could back up. Grady White's have an extremely deep V, so they burn more gas, can't get in shallow water, take longer to plane, etc, but you won't find a better/drier ride. I have been 60 miles out in the gulf stream on a 19' tournament Grady White on a calm day chasing spadefish. I have also been out on several scouts that buddies own and love. We have these arguements all the time. As far as your Carolina Skiff comment, they make good crabbing boats, but that is about it. Flat bottom=crappy ride, enough said about that one.
Wrong. They are a better boat than you state, but are not that dry, unless you are comparing them to your Sea Hunt.

Wrong again. Only Edgewater Boats would tell you that.

Please take your top level expertise elsewhere. Your lack of common decency has blown this thread apart without knowing what you're talking about.

Thanks Billy. I'm sorry to hear about your work situation, but sometimes things happen for a reason and you'll come back stronger. I'm still climbing my way back. Good luck!

The Corvettes' way over priced Billy. Both have 4 wheels and get you from point A to point B. You should know that.

I've not seen a person's post get edited before on this board. I have to say that is lame even if that person is pooping on someone's thread.

The guilty party has been reprimanded, and I did my best at restoring original posts.

As you know, I have never been a fan of editing posts.
