Got a username for the Z car? Or get him in this thread possibly?

With that being said i'm going to be honest with you and suggest keeping your money and putting it into the car/school/something useful instead of my pocket.
I guess I'll keep it then, get a better start on those tires. I'm still up for a pull on the street just for fun though. Friendly is what I do best.

i've got a 99 camaro. pics should be posted somewhere on here. and don't worry about not having enough, everyone has to start somewhere! and a 73 camaro no matter how fast is a nice start.
Clean car there. I'm still more than 10K from needin wheelie bars, but maybe one day...

i wish i had that starter car when i was 18.
Thanks man. I worked hard, bought it, put all kinds of work in it, and then every penny I made over my 7 months at a Toyota dealer. Little prettier, little faster all the time. My high-school graduation present was half the money for the motor, with me working for the rest, then building it in my garage. Can't say I'm not tryin, right?

You can't put tires on your car because you don't have a garage. what does it matter? Don't you have a jack? what are you going to do if you get a flat tire? let it sit because you don't have a garage.
Hey maybe you can buy some 27x10.5 MT radials, we'll put em on my car, then run to see who pays for em. How's that sound?

Your the one that made the comment about not being able to put tires on because "YOU DON'T HAVE A GARAGE".

this isn't the welfare system for racing. buy your own shit. if you can't aford them then race with crappy street tires or don't race. Next you will want someone to pay your gate fee

Nah, I think I got gate fee, just not much more. If I lost the race I proposed, I'd be paying you back for the tires. Then I might be viable to run some other folks. Besides, I thought we'd use your garage to do all the work. Borrow your tools and jack, maybe mini-tub it, lexan, 3 stage fogger, transbrake, fiberglass front clip, chutes...

I believe I talked with you for a while Saturday night Ace, I was the guy bitching about DSM's lol. Hell I'll run you for shits and giggles, I know for a fact you'll annihilate me so it might not be worth your time but I really don't care, I just enjoy driving I'm still on break-in boost, only about 17 psi, but I'm down for a friendly run

Hell, Illusions' own truck isn't even apart in his own garage. We decided to go for a change of pace, and replace the oil pan in an undisclosed location. "No peeking", you know?

aren't you guys brothers, or related somehow?

yeah, Ace, since you are working & trying, if you need a place to do some work, just post up.

since you are working to better yourself, we will help you along.

but you gotta buy the pizza

we always had guys up to house when we were active duty, putting in stereos and stuff, long as they bought supper, we worked till they were done.

one guy stayed till 3am putting stuff in. we went to sack ~11:30, left him out there.
wife had cooked good supper, put leftovers in fridge,
he ate ALL the left overs ~2am to recharge his battery.

Steven Manes, IIRC, was a good guy.
