Ive got a Camaro. Were still curious to the real reasoning behind getting rid of the G8, a quick, respectable, price holding car thats seen as fairly few and far between for this more expensive, balless toy car that wont be worth shit in 5 years. You already gripe about it on the ft86 board about the brakes, tires, grinding transmission and how gutless it is and you spend shitpiles of money on it, even though you told me you did this to save money. Look it seems you feel a need lately to take up for him, but every bit of the hell he's catching is deserved. Everyone is still asking why'd he do that? And i just have to shrug my shoulders and say he must be gay. Because i dont know whay else to say. Theres no other reasonable explanation.

The brakes do fine for normal daily driving, i shouldnt expect an oem pad to work in the temp ranges i would like it to, the tires are purposely shitty and are great for sliding the car around but not very much fun when trying to stay under their limit, the transmission is notchy and a simple fluid change fixes that.

Honestly, sounds like the same issues I had with the G8... Bridgestone RE050s are junk everywhere, hawk ceramic pads(that were on it when i got it) glazed pretty quickly and no ones ever heard of a TR6060 having 2nd and 3rd gear issues and a fluid swap helping those have they...

I traded in the G8 for a loss. My loss. I was never really looking to get one and IT was an impulse buy where as the FRS was something i had been looking into for 3 months or so. This one showed up available like i wanted and they made changes to the 2015 model that i did not like so i went ahead and got it.

I like my concrete/rebar splitter.

No need to be a wheel snob. From what I can find these are their own design called RT5s. TE37 styled wheels are Grids.
