I don't think you want to put much more than that on the stock block.

Bill, Daryl, and I all use the stock crank & block. That means they are the exact same as the one in your truck.

We do have upgraded rods and pistons though. I don't know of many stock blocks handling more than 150 shot of nitrous.

Ah well that makes a whole lot more sense. I guess I learn something new everyday. I would have thought a built motor would have had an agtermarket block and crank. Shows you what I know and what I have to learn.

(walks back to the drawing board)

I can tell we need a new word to describe "stock block". How about "Ford Assembled Long Block"?

Even though it is technically incorrect to say we don't have stock blocks we really know what you mean. Certainly Stock Block King sounds better than F.A.L.B. King.

But when your talking about how much nitrous the motor can handle, the "stock block" in our situation is a limiting factor.

I'm pretty sure that this thread was started as CallOut: Magoo, 05Saleen, OR95Cobra. LOL, Wish i could make it home from clemson to watch, but in my case the GUY to GIRL ratio will be about 1:4 or so staying in my condo this weekend, so you guys have fun sniffing race gas and changing tires I guess i was the smart one to go to college? There is a race track up near here if you guys would like to join
