Jamison's Corvettes Tube Chassis
Snapped a couple of pics of two more custom chassis that Jamison's sells to convert older Vettes to run modern engines and suspensions. These two are for "C1" style 54-62 bodies and will get powder coated and, likely, setup as rollers and shipped out. They have chassis available for C1, C2, and C3 Vettes. Thought they looked neat and I would share them with you.

These will accomidate nearly any small block chevy/ LS engine and trans combo.
Bare chassis (as you see in picture) is about $6700.00. The full roller we sent out two weeks ago with powder coat, full suspension, brake lines, fuel lines, fuel tank, rack, body mounts, brand new GM LS3 480hp crate engine and Keisler five speed, clutch and driveshaft was about $36.000

Can you send me more info on these? Several shops I do tech support for build these all the time. They are all using Paul Newman chassis which are about $10,000-$15,000 more than what you posted.

yeah we used to do some exhaust on some of them. they look pretty wild with the motor and everything in them. who is building them things now? i knew it was a guy that lived over by the old summerville speedway years ago

Yep, same guy. He engineered it all years ago and has made many improvements over the years. He now lives in Virginia. He has retired from building race chassis and now just does these for Jamison's to stay busy. His quality is top notch.

I remember seeing one of those that they completed right up to "turn-key" for a guy in Texas years ago. The LS engine looked like it came in there from the factory! I forgot how much Kerry said that car sold for?

Yea Rob that was Bob Kessing. His last shop here was back behind the 4x4 shop on main st. I remember as a little boy going with my father hanging out in his old old shops watching them build the old dirt track cars for summerville. He always did awesome work.

Here are some pictures of the last roller we sent out. This is a "C2" chassis designed to fit 63-67 "midyear" style corvettes. All the suspension was cleaned and rebuilt, new QA1 shocks, new hubs, brakes, rack, etc. There are many options available and all of the frames use factory body mounts and bumper mounts to allow for a much easier installation.
A newer version using C5 suspension front and rear along with a 2010 Camaro rear diff is in development, but no ETA at this point.
