Default Dallas: Botched Burnout at Cars & Coffee, Corvette

Burnouts are fun and all, but as with all types hooning, there's a chance for things to go wrong even in a slow car. Throw a Corvette, a crowd, and an ego into the mix, and suddenly the chance for stupid goes through the roof. Take this spin out in the middle of the street for example.

While leaving Cars and Coffee in Dallas, this guy decides to peel out in the middle of the street. Which is fine if you have control, but he starts fishtailing as soon as he lights the tires and spins it over the curb towards the audience. Luckily nothing and no one was hurt. Well, his ego might be bruised, but I'm sure that'll heal up just fine

At least he had enough sense to get out of it when he did.

I thought one of the main perks of having a Vette is that you don't have to openly prove that your car is powerful anymore...after all, it is a Vette!...of course it's fast!

A Vette is a strong enough cop magnet when it is just sitting still, not to mention the attention it will draw when doing something stupid.

I hear there were similar asshats at the new location Saturday morning. Not very smart when MPPD is literally 1 mile away.

Go to Mustang week, Harley week, sport bike week and you can see this happen hundreds of times throughout the week. Fixed it for you.
