My PSA build
Finally got some range time with this one this past weekend. Super accurate and a blast to shoot.
Started as a PSA carbine. I added vector optics quad rail and low pro gas block. Magpul moe stock, grip, and angled foregrip. Also added the fab defense magwell grip. Magpul MBUS, custom ejection port cover, and sightmark ultra digital QD reflex sight. The barrel shroud is a kineti-tech unit. I also added JP yellow FCG springs and did a custom trigger job on it and it feels amazing. The duracoat was done by myself and turned out nicely I think. |

Looks good, I'm hoping to have mine done soon, just waiting on some parts from PSA. I'm sure the "mod" bug will hit me soon after lol.

a buddy says the PSA front sights are staked on incorrectly, and are crooked. (canted to one side?)
did you notice any of that? good looking toy, you do good work.

Didn't notice. I ripped off the front sight before I ever put it to my shoulder lol.
Thanks for the kind words. Wish I could quit messing with these things. Sure is expensive lol |

Barrel shroud = dangerous assault weapon.
Really though that looks bad ass man. Not familiar with the uppers and too lazy to search. DI or piston?

Not a piston system.
Saving that for the next build in .300BLK |

My 6.8 Ruger AR15 is a piston system and I love it. Very little recoil and very accurate. It hasn't been fired enough yet for me to determine how long it will go between cleanings....

Love it for the $. Seems to be super sturdy and very clear. I've had expensive optics before and always felt let down. Went with this one on a recommendation from a friend and couldn't be happier.
My dumb ass ordered one for a dovetail mount first and they won't take it back. So if anyone has a 10/22 or something similar with a dovetail mount, I have one for sale lol. |
