Default 1968 Mustang For Sale - lots of extras!

It is a California car, brought to Michigan, then to SC and stored when the old lady died. Have all receipts from 68 to 94. 74000 miles on the 289 (running well when removed), and chassis. Newly rebuilt C4 and front disc brakes (brakes need to be flushed).

Needs new driver’s seat cover and kick panels. Fuel sending unit new, but has bad ground.

Current engine is a built 351 (.40 over bore, comp cam, Ford Racing roller rockers, air gap manifold, ceramic long tube headers, etc.) . It was built but then sat for some time, and after finally being installed it has a rear main leak. But runs and drives. Original floor pans, only light surface rust. Underbody was undercoated.

Front fenders and hood were replaced with aftermarket because it was cheaper than sandblasting them, however all original sheet metal and 289 engine is available.

Painted Acapulco Blue (factory Ford 1969 color). Originally Wimbledon White.

Asking $12k, planning to purchase new house.

Additional pictures available upon request. Located in Summerville, SC near Charleston.

Good luck. 12k for a nothing special 68 Mustang, that has been ruined by replacing the 289 with a windsor. 5k car all day long, but only if the windsor has some good parts..

Unfortunately for you Darryl is correct. In it's current condition and how it's set-up I don't see this 68 coupe selling for much more than $5-6K.....GLWS, though.

Being the owner of a 70 Mustang I can't tell you how many times some old fucker has told me about how fast his old car was and that same shit about "you can't grab a $100 bill of the dash" bullshit.....I always just smiled and walked away, well usually. Sometimes I'd let them know I am absolutely certain I could grab anything you put on the dash of your 15 second 1/4 mile car.....

Driver turned on the windshield defroster and blew it back there before you could move on it. Oldest trick in the book. LOL.

j/k

I'm very interested in this vehicle. Is this the original paint? How many miles are on it and how is the gas mileage? What color is the interior? Does it still have the factory EFI?

Please call me at (843) 797-5580, ask for George. Thanks
