Veterans' Victory House Car Show
Spent the day sat with the Veteran's in Walterboro at the Veterans' Victory House Car Show. Great cause and one day, I might just get a room there! Very nice selection of cars as well. Raised a lot of money for some HEROS of days gone by. PICS... http://s63.photobucket.com/user/shan...n%20Car%20Show

They took care of my uncle at end stage. I didn't know about the show but I hope it was a success.

Close friend if mine just put his dad there and he got to walk around and check out the cars also. It was a success even if it was just the excitement of the cars for the Veterans. They did raise a good bit of money and the 50/50 which was a good bit was won and donated right back to the Veterans. I have to say I was impressed with the facility because you always hear about how terrible the Vets have it.

Awesome. Enough is never enough for our fellow veterans. I salute those who work to honor those that served.

They denied me VA benefits 3 times, so I gave up on them. Now I had bad hearing, and joints.

Just made sure that I documented everything every time, a great SNCO taught me that. Now I have my 40% but the service here sucks balls! Old timers get treated like crap, workers are lazy and if you try to take up for another vet, they freaking call security |

It's bad here. I had a nurse throw a urine bottle at me in the middle of the night at the VA Hospital here back in 1999 while I was a paraplegic. All because I bothered him to bring me a urine bottle so I didn't piss the bed. The good thing was that I was Active Duty and I called my E-9 and the next morning her and the my Wing Commander (Colonel) were standing on top of the hospital administrators desk ripping his fkn throat out. They immediately had me removed from the VA Hospital. Had another incident back in 2008 with a German Doctor at the VA hospital, after they reassembled me with new hardware. I also made a formal complaint against them for a WWII Veteran I witnessed being treated like a junkyard dog back in 09'. I refuse to go see them unless I get one of the mandatory review letters and even then I take my Pitbull with me (wife) and she doesn't FK around with them. Thanks for sharing the pics Shane! Looked like a good time. jeff Last edited by FRDnemesis; 05-13-2013 at 11:53 PM. |
