Tiny hole goes at the top, big hole goes on the bottom?

Give me a min to log into GMConnect and I'll check for you.

unless they changed something, i would figger the chamfered side on the big end would go towards the radius on the crank, and the non-chamfered side would go toward the other rod on the same journal?

or did they chamfer both sides of the rods?

I have some pics of the engine from the bottom that may help give you a clue Bobby. I took these from below the car while on the lift through the hole in the shield but maybe they can help.

Thanks Jeff,
Its hard to tell but in your last pick the boss on the side of the LH rod next to the imprinted numbers. I'm thinking from what pics I have seen the two bosses face each other.

Diggler- both sides are chamfered the same.

Actually maybe it doesn't. the next to last pic looks like the rod on the right has the boss towards the crank throw. and you lh cap is marked with an arrow I take as pointing towards the from so maybe the side with the boss points towards the front.
