make it easy on everyone...
either the Vette is has a VERY efficient drivetrain…or they under rated the new LT1 a little… If crank HP is 460 and they saw 416 at the wheels…that’s under 10% drivetrain loss. I understand there are variables with the chassis dyno…but still impressive!

I'm on the fence about the styling but I hear it looks good in person.
A friend has the second one in Charleston on order from Hendricks (so the salesman said), but GM hasn't started building it yet. Supposed to find out more tomorrow on its ETA. I don't think they have told him exactly what the "Market Adjustment Price" will be yet, but it will be at least 5k over sticker. |

Didnt I read somewhere about the low end torque of this new engine is supposed to be like LS7 torque or some shit? Sure looks like normal LS2/LS3 torks to me. Hell maybe I'm wrong.

Lisa's father was looking at buying a new(ish) 911, but has been swayed towards the C7. He read one of the articles that compared it to some of the higher end sports cars and noticed it hung in there for a fraction of the cost. I think it is a great buy for the money.

I want the performance of that car in something else that doesnt look like its from Star Trek. I cant stand how they look but could get behind the performance.

LT1 dyno made 416tq. pretty close, but lpe's graph has MPH x-axis, so I can't establish exact rpm, but it looks to be in the 4k range.

Not to beat a dead horse, but, I've also heard the back looks much better in person as well.

ahhhhhh so nice! Going to get a yellow one. Probley wait until the Z07 comes out, pick up a used stingray. Then instead of modding 2-3 years later pick up a Z07 myself.
