Default Well that didn't last long...'99 SS For Sale

http://charleston.craigslist.org/cto/4652407849.html

After I dumped a good chunk of change in to it, my Grandfather decided he wants to sell his truck...the red silveraydo in the first pic.

I decided that truck is more important to me than this camaro. I need it gone, so I have it listed fairly...I think. It isn't perfect, but it's a good car.

$6500 for you guys.

Saw it twice on Saturday. Car looks pretty good, esp for type if cars they are & its age. Kid/new owner was looking for the interior clips that retain the power window switch & keep it in place

Thanks,

It was still a long ways away for what I wanted it to be. I didn't want to let it go, but as I said I wanted the truck I bought more. I was kinda in a pickle and had to do what I had to do.

I just replaced the window switch bezel and it didn't come with the retainer clips. I was able to salvage one, but not the other. It is a strong car for being mostly stock. Hopefully he keeps it between the lines.

Talked to Kevin H, he said these cars are drawing a premium now, and they sell quick.

you had that one done up nice.

no prob, both my daughters are looking for a "weekend car" and I used that angle on them, that it could be a family heirloom!

glad you could move it & pickup the truck, now we need pics of the truck!!

Check out sig pic. This is how I bought it from my Grandfather. Nothing crazy. The first thing I am going to do is remove all badges and side molding. I want to drop the rear about 2" and change some stuff around with the exhaust. It already has true duals, but it doesn't have an H-pipe or X-pipe and the mufflers are too quiet.

KissMyWhiteSS, yeah those clips are kinda one of those odd-ball things. I helped him look through the Doorman/Help! section @/our store but we didn't have any. Told him to try Blue & Gold (since they were still open) & LKQ but he'd prob find them on Camarocentral.com and/or year one....Hopefully he'll get that little stuff squared away and have a Nice LSx car

Rob M, Thanks for trying to help him out. I told him that ebay had them for $5 for two. I'll text him and remind him.

Thanks man, step sides have never really caught my eye until I realized there aren't many of them on the road these days. They do not make trucks in step sides anymore either.

I haven't noticed that they stopped making them. Learn something new everyday. I did see a late 90's dodge ram truck around goose creek a long time ago that someone made a step side for it and I thought that looked really good. Never saw it up close though
