Default JDM Engine's

Going to Order 2 motors at least!! As soon as Jim Sr. returns from California. Can't wait to see these trucks go with the new motors. Should be fun and Maybe give Mike a Little Heads up fun It's Lonely at the top Maybe even give some of these light Mustangs a good run.

The best it ran was a 7.8, but we found out WHEN WE GOT HOME that it was only making 8 lbs of boost until about 3500 RPM's or so. Its the damndest thing i have ever seen seeing that belt have a ripple or two in it and JUMP over the supercharger again and again. And the thing is, the belt that they had on there was tight as a banjo, they put a smaller belt on and it still did the same thing. Dad figured it out and called Jim Jr. and he said the only way to stop that is to get the tensioner. Dad changed the belt to make it a little tighter and still only getting 12 lbs of boost, but when the tensioner gets here should get the whole 15-17 off the line or thereabouts. The truck is definately ALOT quicker just have to adjust some things.... Probably wont be much adjusting on the stock motor since the JDM's will be here in about 3 weeks. Hope that helped. Trial by error at its best is all we can do for the time being

I'm definetly happy with my JDM motor, Although my transmission isn't too supportive of it

I am sure there is a transmission out there that would be supportive. $$$
Lauching that heavy truck and lifting tires gives it a work out!!!
