New guy here!
Hello everyone, my name is Jacob and I live here in Charleston. I have a 1998 Eclipse GST with a fresh 6 bolt swap with about 450 miles on the motor, still breaking it in, FWD FTL. I've met a few of you guys at the weekly meet on Rivers and heard about this place through there. I was out there tonight and watched a turbo integra get smoked by a camaro, and then the integra owner wouldn't pony up the measly $50 for the loss
It's really late right now so I'll add some pics and a mod list tomorrow, I know this place is mostly domestics, but I've seen a few other Mitsu's on here haha! Anyways, looking forward to meeting some of you guys and seeing what the site has to offer. |

Thanks for the welcome guys! Yea I'm used to being on DSM specific sites, sorry haha! The 6 bolt motor is from the 1st generation DSM's, the 2g motors are 7 bolt, which refers to the number of bolts on the flywheel.
The car is currently 3 different colors, I'm getting ready to prep it for a paint job in a month or so, I'm also switching out the god-awful sideskirts the previous owner had for the OEM ones. I absolutely hate the fact that I have hood pins, but a couple weeks ago after the first start-up I took it on the freeway and the hood flew up in my face at 60mph and shattered the windshield, so I decided my safety and hood/windshield are more important than the ricer looking hood pins. When I get some spare cash I will be getting the nice flush ones that you can buy. I'm also working on a custom inercooler setup with a buddy of mine that helped me build the car, that will be on in the next few weeks. Thanks again for all the welcomes guys! I expected a little fun at my expense for the turbo but that's ok. I have a very specific goal with this turbo, and one that not very many people achieve on a fully street trim DSM. Once I achieve that goal I will probably move on to a much bigger turbo, as you can see from my mod list I have the motor to handle it
