Default What gear

Things are starting to line up for my s60 purchase and I am having a hard time deciding on a gear.

Right now I have a 3.73 in the 10-bolt and I can run 70 down the I with out issue, but I have been considering stepping it up to a 4.10.

I do run a 26in tire on the street and a 27x11.50 QTP at the track. I am barely in 3rd when I go through the traps as it is.

What are your thoughts?

Converter is a 36-3800 according to Cameron. It feels much tighter though.

Haha, I still want to drive it sometimes. 40mph at 4500rpm would suck.

I wish I could BOAST!!

4.10 or 3.90 if you're worried about interstate driving. Not much of a difference. Smaller cu inch motors need some gear if they're not boosted or a bunch of nitrous. That car's not light like a fox Mustang. It needs more gear.

If there is a 3.90 option, I will be all over it. I will have to look into it.

I say stick with the 3.73s I got them and I am nearly out of gear in the 1/4. But I have read that a El TEE Juan likes a lot of gear.
