Congratulations to everyone who got a new best tonight.
I think all 4 lightnings that were running tonight got new personal bests.
Before I left Larry reached his goal, and was cooling down for another pass. Arthur has the truck running top notch, congrats to Larry I'm glad you made it out and everything worked out. From the sound of the few calls I got since I left Bill and Daryl are cutting some very very nice times. ....and even Derrick got a new best with the new blower. Congrats to all 4 of them guys. I also got a new best in the diesel. I'll let everyone else post up their times when they get home, but here is mine in the diesel: R/T ----- .029 60 ----- 2.288 1/8 ----- 9.503 MPH ---- 75.610 Not bad for a 6500 lb truck. |

Man, I had a great time tonight. I don't get many nights out like that. I did run a new personal best, 7.67 on my street tune, so I'm happy.
Thanks to Arthur Todd, who set the truck up put a great tune on it and to Randy and Sean who lost a lot of sleep working on it. Congratulations to Daryl and Mitch for overpowering the tires and still running well. Bill, what can I say? You blasted me in spite of me trying to sneek away early on you. Congrats on your last pass, too. Good job to Derrick as well on a new personal best. Thanks to everyone else for helping out. I hope now that I can go more often. |

Bill Ran a 7.082 at 96 on the street tune with GREAT traction and My dad ran a 7.003 at 98 for the best time and a 7.062 at 101.5 for his best mph I think if he had taller tires that hooked a little better the truck would launch a little better.... I think they have maxed out the tires slightly for the silver truck.... Overall everyone got their new personal best and i think derek ran a 8.28 or 8.29 with the new blower Had fun tonight and wish i could be there more often to enjoy the fun....

Bill those secret mods you have must be really paying off. For how your truck was set up tonight (low boost, low timing, stock front tires) a 7.0 is outstanding.

No problem....i forgot the 60 foots
Bill on his best run was a 1.52 Dad on his best was a 1.58 Those tires were awesome on bills truck! Tires on daryls were a little outmatched with the power that the truck was putting down tonight But hey i think they would rather have that problem than not having it

Mitch, we will have to set up a race. Just for fun! I think it will be a lot closer than you think. If you get me at the tree you will win. I think the L's are awsome to go that fast with a 5.4 and to be as heavy as they are. congrats on all of the hard work paying off.
