Default my tahoe

just a placeholder with some stock-ish pics for now... so far all ive done is tint the front 2 windows to 35% (legal for NC) and replace the door speakers, head unit, and sub... head unit is a pioneer 8200-bt media deck, front doors are memphis PR series while the back doors have pioneers in them... the huge ported box is getting replaced soon to regain use of the 3rd row and the factory tinted stuff is getting covered with 5%...

nice. that sub looks deep!

that "deep shag" carpet in the OBS/NBS is crazy. coffee will mess it up quick

here's a pretty crappy forum,

thanks... and yeah, i know about the carpet... there are some spots in the cargo area from when it was my grandfather's work truck but overall it's pretty clean...

the sub box is huge and i love the way it sounds but i think im going to go with a different box that will fit behind the third row...

should be picking up my 6.0 this week (it's paid for, just need a way to get it from charlotte to the shop)

the process has started... got some more tint done monday and the sub box is being replaced with a custom one that will fit nicely between the third row and the rear hatch

dropped it off yesterday to get debadged/buffed and have the roof rack removed...

just waiting on parts in the mail and to get my engine down here from charlotte... hope to have some new pics up this weekend...

coming in the mail soon

Same on my truck and a few others in town minus the cats. Youll love them and they are sold at an awesome price. The supplied hardware for the Lightning kits at least suck donkey ass though.

at this point im pretty sure HHP will be doing the install for the engine and headers... i'm sure they will be able to sort through replacing a few bolts if needed... at least i hope so!

speaking of... i need to get over there and talk to those guys to spec out a cam for the motor and finalize pricing, etc. so that when my engine makes it here we will be ready to roll...

my wallet is starting to bleed at this point but it should all be worth it in the end

+1 might as well put Lightning badges on there..........

Other than the badges his plan looks pretty solid though.

im going to see how they look... im putting on a silverado ss front bumper so it might just add a subtle touch to the truck... they were cheap so no big loss if i end up not putting them on there...

this is somewhat the inspiration for the build... although i refuse to put the 03-06 grille/lights on there or those hideous stripes... i'll also be going with 22x9 tbss replicas rather than the silverado ss wheels

That is more than just a bumper. Looks like the whole front clip from an 03-07 and a 02ish HD hood. For the cost of the 22's, I would look into regular aftermarket rims that are not too overly done.

with this many mods, why not just get a NNBS with the new parts & LSx motor all done up?

yeah, the one posted above is a complete 03-06 silverado front clip conversion... im just going with the ss front bumper and possibly a 99-01 hd hood (eventually)... i want to get the mechanical stuff done first before i change much cosmetic stuff...

also ive searched the net high and low for the "right" wheels... the tbss just fits what im looking for the best... really simple, clean looking wheel and really not overly priced imo... $1325 for chrome or $1150 for competition grey shipped... in all honesty, i will probably go with the competition grey as i think it will look better against the white... chrome goes with darker colors better from my perspective

because this one is paid for, i got it for a steal (from family who bought it new), and i know the entire history of the truck... plus, i like the looks of the 00-06 better than the 07+ personally
