Weak.

The guy in the REAL Challenger didn't even go. Guess that's the only way that the new one has a shot. I guess if it was an import commercial, the guy in the '08 would have hazard lit him. I was going to show it to Dennis (my roommate who has a 2000 Viper GTS), but he'd probably just get pissed.

Seriously, though. I'd drive the SHIT out of either one of those cars. Happily.

I think that it would have been cooler if they both "went" on green. Everyone would have been pissed though because they would be promoting street racing.

That and it would get the vintage Challenger all dirty and ruining the bias-ply tires which in turn would lower the "market value" of such car.

Talked to Dennis about it, and showed him the commercial. He said that it is not an original car anyway. Said that the grille is wrong, the hood is incorrect for the shaker, etc., etc. He would know, as he has a 70 Challenger (I think it's a 70) back home in Illinois.

So it would not have hurt the value of the car in the least to get rubber on the quarters.

Wouldn't have been any worse than the Mustang commercials...

You know, the one with the father and son doing burnouts, and the one with the cops doing donuts?
