Default How much is a good price

For a 1988 Fox coupe with chrome ponies low mileage (less than my old fox atleast)
Mass air conversion, e cam and some exhaust? Could use a paint. But not that bad?
AOD, 3.73 car.
How much could I sell it for?

You're asking a bunch of truck, uh I mean chevy, uh pool shootin, uh.... Ford converted farm truck owners what a high mileage, worn out Mustang is worth? It's probably faster than us anyway.
I have no clue

Well, just in looking around a little most prices start at 3500 for rough cars. I have seen some lower but usually 3500 to 5000 depending on shape.

To me its worth about 1200.

Kelly blue book puts it at ~896 trade-in value

Same thing goes for you your Ranger ~1000 trade-in value. Mods don't add to the value, unless you find the right buyer.

I've overpaid for a used car once when I was 16, and I hope to not do that again.

The problem with those cars is that people are paying the money. Eventhough the bb value is lower, they are pulling the money. I looked at buying one instead of the tbird but I couldn't find anything that was decent for under 3500. Most were in the upper 4k range.

Jimmy you are right. I have been looking for about 2 months, and I'm beginning to wonder if I will ever own one. I'll just keep looking, but I'm not going to pay 3k for a 15 year old car that was mass produced.

It's crazy. I wish I still had my 88gt. I sold it in 99 with 130k on it for 1500. It was very strong and everything worked. Paint was pretty good. I think the only problem was the headliner was starting to fall.
