Default Go ahead...

Make my day

A few pics from "Shaun breaks his gun cherry" day.

Dennis and the M1 Garand: (The first gun I ever fired. EVER.)

Me and the M4:

Me and the USP .45:

I also shot a Glock 21 .45 (I'll be buying it soon), a 12 gauge riot gun (Unsure of the make) and the new H&K P30 9mm (I likey lots.)

This gun-culture thing can be addicting. It's too bad I didn't start sooner.

EDIT:
BTW: The guns belong to one of the guys at work. Except for the Garand-She's Dennis'

Well the work internet filters own me again.

I love shooting guns I often go out to the shooting range with my dad. We usually bring the AR-15, M-16, SKS, and 9MM rifle. Its a great time untill the next day when your shoulder hurt like hell.

I like shooting my dads guns that way he can pay for the guns. That crap gets REAL expensive real quick!

No kidding that shit's expensive. Let's see. I fired about 3 grand worth of guns and $125 worth of ammo.

DAMMIT!!!

Oh, well. It's hard to put a price on the fun and anjoyment to be had killing some empties and paper targets.

Of course, it'll be alot easier to price when I am paying for it all. Roughly $650 for the Glock and extra mags. (Before you guys start telling me that I am paying too much, it has only had about 30 rounds fired through it.)

A good price on a NIB G21 is $550 with two 13 rd mags. That is for the fixed sight non compensated model.
That G21 is a fat mother. Most people find it doesn't fit their hands well. And the .45 ACP is a little expensive to shoot. Have you tried any other Glocks? I have a G34, G31 and G33. All great guns. The G34 by far the easiest to shoot well. Check out www.glocktalk.com. For ammo its hard to beat walmart for .40 amd 9mm. Georgia Arms is a quality manufacturer of reloaded ammo. I have sent thousands of their rounds down range without problems. Good luck.

The 21 actually fit my hand fairly well. As far as the ammo goes, I understand that .45 Auto rounds are not the cheapest on the planet; but, for as little as I will probably be out, it'll be just fine.

As far as other Glocks are concerned, that is the only one I have ever even held. If I had my choice, and money were not an issue, I would pick up a P30 or USP full-size, both from H&K. They fit my hand very-very well, and felt great shooting. I just don't want to spend $900-$1100 on a handgun that will primarily be used for relaxation/recreation. I don't expect the need to use it for home protection. I'll deal with that if, and when, it happens.

Looks like fun. I've been getting more into the gun hobby here lately myself.

Here's a few pics of a couple guns I own.

DPMS Long Range .308 AR-10

Busmaster AR-15 with Trijicon reflex sight.

Pistol grip Mossberg 12 ga. with heat shield and ar-15 style adjustable stock.
