Holley plate / 13434NOS
Picked this kit up because I wanted to open up some room on my injectors using them for my dry shot. Found I was sprayin a 50 pill to, looking to stay with 50 or 75 on wet kit.
Some guys are no telling me this isn't a good plate. Will it be safe for what I want, 50-75? http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s...1/25b7c9ca.jpg Thanks guys |
it should be safe for what you are wanting to spray for sure. I bet everyone says it isnt good and you could die in a fire, But if you went with nitrous express you will live forever?
I would run that if I was you. |
Looks more than acceptable for a 50-75 shot set-up. What solenoid is that? Looks a lot like my Cheater ones....
|
Yeah it's a Cheater, had it my talon on a direct port setup. Right now it rich on a 36/22 with 800psi/60psi fuel.... Going to get some other pills but truck feels very strong at 22-23 boost and shot. Just waiting on my new cam then it's track time.

Raise your bottle pressure up to atleast 950. 800 psi nitrous is more of a liquid state.
|
Ok, good to know... Plate kit instruction said min of 800 and was trying to keep it a easy level to get to at the track. But if it needs more to work right I can do that.
|
most nitrous companies have you run rich. The philosophy is that rich is better and safe. I disagree to an extent. But that is for another episode lol.
|
if it doesnt work out i'll take it off your hands.
|
I agree with LXtasy. Ever single kit I've ever ran by manufacturer's settings had the car too rich. They do it for safety I guess. I've always picked a bottle pressure and tuned for that pressure. I run my bottles at no less than 900psi, 950-1000 being my normal pressure.
