Any autocrossing still going on?
 

Just curious. Few years back I used to autocross, with a local group in Orlando, they mimiced SCCA rules, some a little stricter, and just different car classifications. But autocrossed monthly with 2 "grand prix" events at bigger road courses.


I picked my project car up(still needs work). Also fixed up a few things on my DD. Autocrossing is always fun in whatever you drive. This section just seems pretty dead.

Is the SCCA active in the Charleston area?

I might be wrong but I believe it's no longer active, the last event that I know of was last year.

How about a referral for a sign up discount? It said member first and last name and member #. I'd be down for CMP and the hillclimb. I am trying to get registered since I think only 100 can sign up for hillclimb. Thanks and hope to see some people up there:bigthumb:

I went to the last hill climb. Pretty cool event, though pretty awful for spectating lol. They'd done some work to the road for the last event versus the previous one and made things better.

Appreciate that man. I dont think im gonna make the darlington autox next weekend but I'll def be at CMP for PDX/Time Trials in September. Anybody else going?

Starting next spring, I want to get active in autocrossing. I think the way my car handles, that would be better than running a straight line.

There are a couple of upcomming events on Hutchison Island, near Savannah

There's one here in Fayetteville coming up. The 21st I think. Just an FYI

And one in Charlotte on the 27/28. And one in Myrtle Beach on the 3rd.
