Weekly meeting
 

Would anybody be interested in meeting at a different location this week. I meant to ask Morey this past weekend, but I forgot. A good friend of mine and Larry's owns a place called Crazy D's. I wanted to see if you guys wanted to give it a try. We can always alternate between locations. Up to you guys, especially because I never know if I can make the meetings or not with my schedule.

Mitch, Deven, Daryl, and sometimes Derek, and myself eat there about 3 times a week....that place is great....has a big parking lot and good specials :D Too bad im up in clemson and cant make it....i will, however, be home this weekend

Yea I've been going to D's since H.S..

They will be moving to a new location in a few weeks. They will be located closer to HWY 52, but still on Red Bank.

Just thought it would be good to try something different.

They are moving to that new place they are building across from the kangaroo on redbank right? Sometime you guys should have a weekend meet so i can meet all of the guys.
Hopefully i will see you guys this weekend at the track....I hate being so far away

No its not the new building, but the building right next door that has been there a while. It's a big brick building, I think it used to be a night club years ago. It is right around the Kangaroo on the other side of the street.

I have heard of it but I have never been there. Is it a restaurant or bar type place?

its kind of a sports bar, a few pool tables, dart board and pretty good food

Im up for a change, but then again i dont have any kids to bring along. What time 7 again on Thurs?

Hey Mike. Is this a bar or rest? Some of the people like to bring their family. Where is it located. Don't have a problem with a change of places , but we need to get some input on the other Board or the turn out might not as many. Post it up and see where it goes, with a little more info about Crazy D's. Morey

Morey, It is a restaurant until 10pm. It's also a bar, but the food is as good as any restaurant in Goose Creek, in my opinion. My wife and I used to order take out food from them when I lived in GC. Mike and his wife also order takeout. The family that owns it are Oriental and are GREAT COOKS! They have great chicken wings, burgers, salads (especially the Blackened Chicken), and great oriental food (better than any buffet by a long shot), and home made spring rolls. Full variety menu, pretty much anything you want. Some people think of as only a bar and have never stopped to eat there. The prices are excellent, too. Their lunch crowd is strong as well.

My best friend is married to the managing family member, and said that would even work out setting up a small buffet or appetizers if we had a count of how many are coming and an idea of what we want.

They are located between GC High School and Harbor Lakes Drive, in horseshoe shaped shopping center, next to the do it yourself car wash.

Morey please make a post of where you guys decide. If you want to stick with J.B.s, than you can get a feeling of what everyone wants. We can try Crazy D's next week

We will see what the majority wants. Rotating could be a nice thing. Do they have pool tables at Crazy D's?

OK everyone I ate lunch today at Crazy d's and they want to know if we are going to meet there ?? So they can Staff it for us Let Me know so I can let them know ..!!

Mitch, thanks for checking, but our group is not big enough for them to need extra staff. I spoke to them today and they are ok if we show up with 10-15 or more people. The kitchen there is open until 10pm. I hope I can make it.
