did anyone go to midway saturday and also did anyone get any opening times and days? a contact number would be great. i went thursday but with no vht and problems i never unloaded or talked to managment. any info would help thanks freddy:miss:

thrus 6-10, sat 6- whenever. we went sat night and they where sprayin track pretty good but it still needs rubber. i think they were talking bout havin a brunout contest thrus night to try and put down a little more rubber. talked with owners but forgot to get any #s.

a friend of mine today told me on saturday that they were making spectators and racers sign a waiver to come in. he said most refused to sign it and turned around and left. he said later on they gave up on it and people started to come in. does anyone know if they plan to keep this in place for spectators?

why were people not wanting to sign it? must be looking for a lawsuit

You have to sign at every respectable track, what's the big deal?

i know i wouldn't want to sign it and i'm not looking for a lawsuit. you have to be careful what you go around signing and why would i have to sign in the first place. plenty other events you go and watch you don't have to sign something so why this one? maybe not a big deal to you but others will strongly disagree.

the main reason you sign is to cover their butts, there is no way of keeping the spectators out of the pit or staging area, other than dorchester ive had to sign at every other track ive ever been too

Exactly. I think it said that you wave any rights if you get hurt there. No brained. I signed, but than again it doesn't bother me. Everytime I race I have to sign the waiver.

Honestly, that's new to me. I have been to both IHRA and NHRA national evnts and didn't have to sign a waiver.

yeah like at bowman you only sign if you drive. it is dumb for the spectators but it wouldnt keep me from going in. shit happens all the time and you cant expect someone else to pay for it. so maybe bc they are new owners they just feel that that is the right thing for them to do. but they prolly wouldnt make SBM sign bc of how fast his car is.

We went to Darlington last Saturday and everyone had to sign the waiver. It was also only a TNT night. I do not understand the big deal. What do people have to hide? They aren't asking for your SS# or address. So its not like your going to get your id stolen or junk mail. Geesh such paranoid people.

You have a greater risk of having your ID stolen from a family member than a stranger. look it up.

if you're worried about signing a waiver then make up a name, no big deal......

if someone goes to a track expecting the owner/operator to cover any medical expenses caused by anything that happens out there then they have lost their mind, its an enter at your own risk waiver.....

Have you ever read the back of a national event ticket? The release of liability can be found there. Simply buying a ticket is the waiver at those events.
