Just in case anyone cared about cruise speeds and RPMs, I changed from 3.73's to 4.10's. The "RPM per speed" change was....
3.73 gear 70 MPH/2400 80 MPH/2750ish 4.10 gear 70 MPH/dead on 2500 80 MPH/dead on 3000 This was using a DiabloSport Predator on both applications. BTW, 4.10's FTW! |

Going from 3.55's to 4.10's in RoadPig made alot of difference...shoulda been built that way ... 55 mph is 2000 rpm on a modular 4.6L 32 valve ... Junior ... give a SOTP input from your drive of it because I am too use to it now ...

Big f-ing difference in that land yacht. Wakes it up. I remember when my dad went from 3.27-4.10 WOW. Fox woke up a tiny bit from 2.73 - 3.55

![]() Sorry if that came out wrong. Just wondering. Was thinking about 5.0 when I put that up. I knew some guys that have done that with a 5.0 car and it didnt help it. Forget about the 4.6 being more top end happy. |

Really? I know of a 92 Stang that went from 3:73's to 4:10's and picked up 3-4 tenths, no other changes made. Then went from 4:10's to 4:30's and picked up nothing.

throw sticky tires on a 3.73 car vs. a 4.10 car and 4.10 car wins every time. |
