A buddy of mine picked up a 66' F100 a couple months ago. You may see it driving around North Charleston. It's flat black, with lime green grille and lime green FORD letters on the tailgate......His has the 3 on the floor, and the 390c.i.

The 2 I sold when I bought the Lightning. The one on the left had a 429 in it and a 352 in the other one. IMHO a LS in one = FAIL.

But it's not my truck so have fun with the build.

Hey I got some left over parts, mainly interior stuff, let me know if you need something, I may have it.

Default update

well we've been slackin taking our time but we got it stripped down to the frame and now have a front end off a 2008 crown vic on it so it will not handle like total shit, and will have power steering and disc brakes. currently installing a 8.8 with a four link suspension on the rear.

How hard was this? I just picked up a 68 and am considering this mod.

the front setup was suprisingly easy, cut the old k member out, drill two holes and it bolted right up on the 66'. The rear was a little bit more involved but wasnt that bad. we had planned on just doing a four link in the rear until i found a running mark viii on cl for $600 and we parted it out and just stole the irs off it.
