Rims have been screwed and tubed, so I hope all is well there now.

I've been doing some searching online, but I can't find a answer. My old trans is out and I noticed it doesn't have a o-ring on the input shaft. Me not being big auto guy I didn't look for it on the install and i'm almost positive if never had one. What problems will this cause? Also is there a chance this puppy is inside the convertor or trans now? I don't see inside the convertor, but hell I'm sure the pressure is pretty crazy in that area.

This green o-ring is what I was missing.
