Hot damn right?
Feeling pretty good about it. I noticed we had a little break in the weather yesterday so I went to parks and got the bottle filled to see if a sniff on the little 50 would give me enough for top 4.8 bragging rights. I would turn the boost up, but i'm to lazy to install my new valve springs so I figured maybe some cold air would be enough.Bingo. Since my last outing of a 10.88@125, I installed my towing package back on and also installed helper leveling bag kit to keep the truck level/riding good when the Baja's back there. Also added a KB boost a pump to help the walbro's feed the 80's. Thats about it, 60 was weak due to launching at 3600 with nitrous fuel on, but nitrous wasn't being triggering till 3800. That was my fault, but next time I'll get it fixed up. As it sits it's the fastest 4.8L FS truck in the country, so i'm not bitching. Had fun and didn't break. Always a blessing and i'm thankful. Video and couple pics.. ![]()

Lol I'm not sure if the tailgate helps or hurts. It's around 25-35 pounds I guess, but also is weight over the axle so I like to just flip a coin.
Maybe one of the L guys on here can chime in, but my roommate is a big ford guy and asked me whats the fastest stock block lightning (pistons/rods). I wasn't sure but did a search on www.lightningrodder.com, a moderator named "ilaybrk" has "11.42 @119.87 Fastest Stock Block". This sound about right for a "known" stock setup?

Thats bad ass. Once you get the valve springs in and the weather cools back down its gonna fly! I'm thinking a .40 or a .50 is possible.
