WHY??????? as little as you drive your car put a battery charger on it and it will be fine for the 5mile trip you might make in it

just did a google search looks like 4.7miles see just charge the battery for about 2hours and your good, plus alt. robbes HP and you need everybit of what your race motor is throwing out

It can be an f body or truck alternator. The guy at advance said the only difference is the back cover which snaps on, so I can swap covers.

Tyler, I only went into advance because that is where the car died. lol
the 140 amp truck alternator looks like it but is actually a larger diameter and won't fit on the fbody bracket

Truff! I bought a 140 amp and tried to put it on my 5.3 but it didn't work. I ended up buying an upgraded stock one.

the 140 amp is 5 5/8 and the 105 is 5 1/8 if i remember right

Joe, if you still need the alternator come and get the one I had off my motor. I am not going to use it. all others must pay $40 for it. lol
