Default CMP March 10-11

Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw is hosting a Hooked on Driving event. It's a 2 day event but you can sign up for both days or just 1 day.

I've never run with HOD, but I've read bad things about them.

Me too. Dave Auer is a fantastic guy and goes out of his way to make it a great time.

I'd like to make it out to one of these events when I am back in the States. Might can make the June event.

Fun track but it's hell on brakes and tires. I boiled the fluid in the frog's brakes on the second session, so we had to pull the wheels and bleed them. Went out and proceeded to boil them again. Done before lunch.

Oh, and FYI - don't exceed the speed limit anywhere near Camden.

Good meeting you UnaBomber, although I wish I'd gotten to ride in the GTR. GJ is all about it now.

Fortunately I was hauling a trailer, not ass.

I'll let UnaBomber tell the story if he wants since I was just ahead of them leaving the Awful Waffle at 7 AM on the way to the track.

The trooper saw the R8, GTR, and 911 Turbo and thought "these boys are up to no good".

We are going to Roebling Road 2 weeks from Friday. Come on. You can ride along with me if you want. Just need a SA2005 helmet or you can rent one there.

Just put it on my calendar!!! I'll have to check my helmet rating. If I have to rent one, I'll bring my nomex head sock..... Haven't been to any good road racing events since I left the U.K.. I used to go to some type of race event to watch or participate almost every weekend and even sometimes during the week "if" it wasn't raining!!!

Hopefully I can get this diff cooler installed. Or else I'll be doing 20 minute sessions instead of the allotted 25.

Ya. I have to find a solution for my BMW. I can wash it, go down the street and see the brake dust from the small trip already. Sucks.
