on a 93 mustang - 2.3 fuel inject' other than header and cam can anything be added to the tb. or the injector could you put a tubo on this small a motor'' and how about shooting gas to that system''

you can do anything to anything for the right amount of money and workmanship. My buddy has a 4cyl svo mustang that runs low 7's in clemson, sc, but i dont even want to ask how much money he has in that thing. It is a sleeper and is very fun to drive

check out the turbo coupe/svo boards as they are 2.3 turbo'd from the factory. 79bluebird's brother is doing the very same thing

lol look for the Turbocoupe/SVO motor and into a Volvo B234F head (DOHC Cosworth/porsche designed head). i'm not sure on all the particualars but from what i understand the 2.3 ford is almost identical to the 2.3 T volvo so forged rods should be easy to come by.

If I remember correctly, when Crazy Hal did the Volvo twin cam head mod, there was some custom fabrication that had to be done. Not sure though. Too bad Charleston Racing is no longer. I could probably find the build thread.

That little 80 9sec 4 banger was pretty kick ass..... awesome slingshot footage for sure!
Dude just put a nice forged rotating assembly with some arp head studs along with a ported head and if you turbo it you should be good on the stock cam......go crazy man, if you have the money you can make that little sucke fly. Also it will handle insanely better than the 302 version due to the weight distribution being so much better than that heavy lump in the front of that little car.

Ford made as stated a Turbo Coupe T-Bird and Made a lot of Turbo Mustang's with the 2.3 These little Motors can Fly, They love RPM'S Mitch

with a volvo head it can run 850 in the 8th with no problem an 4 pounds of boost

I had a 89 fox vert with a 2.3T from the Turbo coupe and it was the MOST FUN of the 10 Mustangs I have owned! Even in stock form the turbo was fun to drive.
