How come everything here is 1/8th mile racing? Everything I've seen til I moved here was our guys trying for sub 9 1/4s. I know it's basically the same thing, but I like to see what cars can do on the big end as well

Then buy yourself a car and take it to Darlington or Carolina.

I was just askin', boss. Are the 1/8th mile tracks simply closer or something?

We only have two 1/4 mile tracks in our state. Both are 2 or more hours away. 1/8 mile tracks are everywhere. Most people set their cars up for 1/8 mile racing.
