Default Computer ?

Want to upgrade my wifes laptop from Windows Vista to Windows 7. I have upgraded mine and was curious if I can use the same disc. I am not sure if you are allowed two pcs in the home or not. I know you can not buy one disc and load it to 60 computers etc etc. If not...what's the cheapest way to load this pc other than paying 119.99 for it for the basic of the three?

Thanks in Advance

Cheapest way is it get a normal copy. Newegg has em at $109.

Or you can try your luck at downloading it. But it's random if it will work or not.

Edit: If your military, they have them at a extreme discount from Base Comm.

depends, i was going from i believe vista to windows 3 because at the time the tuning software i was using on my mustang wasnt vista (64bit) compatible, and using compatibility mode wouldnt work. so it was either download the "downgrade" or purchase a new "used" laptop for tuning only.

this was over a year ago so i dont remember exactly what happened, but i think the download went through and was extracting or something and then everything went blue....

i ended up just installing it on my personal laptop and said screw it, but now that i need to use HPtuners again i would like to have my dedicated tuning laptop back. not to mention i have dozens of peoples tunes on there.

As long as their is driver support, you can always dual boot winXP and win7 or vista.....or hell even IOS......
