Default .

They are super secret about their technology too. When I was in the UK, I stopped by the Williams F1 facility to see if I could get a tour and I got the proverbial "who are you, what do you want, who sent you here, who do you represent and they even asked if I worked for a NASCAR contingent".............. I explained to the guard that I was in the UK on business with the Ministry of Defense and he did not care; there was no way on gods green earth they were going to let me past the gate guard. As I was driving away, the guard jotted down my the tag number on the Alpha Romeo I was driving.

F1 is the richest motorsport in the world and they guard their secrets accordingly, I suppose.

Thinking about renting a RV and taking a boys' trip to Austin in November. It's going to be a zoo, though. One way in to the track, first year, etc...

I really want to go too but it might be a little bit crazy with it being the first year back.

Thats the next to last race of the season, should be a great show.

I plan on renting an RV to attend the 5 days of activities for the 24 hours of Daytona next year.

We've talked about this as well. Let me know if you want to put something together.

That would be great. That's been on my bucketlist for a long time and with the weather that is going on that time of year in Florida IMO an RV is the only way to go!

I've got friends that stay in a tent every year. LMAO, not me, if I'm going, I'm sleeping in comfort!

A large RV 30' averages $115 a night and sleeps 5-7.

With mileage, taxes and a $500 refundable damage deposit, a 4 day trip would be about $1185. $500 of that is refunded if you don't damage it.

You divide that by 4-5 people and that is pretty affordable!
