That's cause he wasn't paying attention, bikes are only dangerous for those who don't respect them and that don't pay attention to there surroundings at all times.

In September of 2006, I was going a reasonable speed down a country road in West Virginia. Came over a knoll, and before I had time to even touch the brakes, I slammed into momma deer walking her fawns across the road. I hit her so hard, I killed her. I was lucky to crawl off the road so I wasn't ran over.

Sometimes, shit just happens. That was my gimme; as much as I love riding, I can't bring myself to risk my life again, especially with the way people drive down here. There's very little respect given to motorcyclists around these parts.
