Default 1993 40th Vette

http://charleston.craigslist.org/cto/3298661284.html

This car has a 396LT1 built by More Performance, put 425 rwhp in Hawaii SAE. Engine details on build sheet.
Reconditioned with new rings, bearings etc when I did cam change.
Ran 11.6's at 119 all day in Hawaii before they shut the track down. Better tires and track may improve that time.
Transmission 4L60 built by Pro Built Automatics in California. Has 2800 rpm Vigilante. 2 years ago, about 3,00o miles
Ikerds Dana 44 with 3.75 gears.
Entire suspension has been rebuilt. Bearings, bushings, Ball joints, springs(ZO7), shocks QA1, tie rods, sway bars (ZO7), Doug Rippie Motorsports camber/control rod brackets for better handling.
BeCool radiator, B&M transmission cooler.
Steering Column rebuilt. Roll Bar, 315/35/17 rear, 275/45/17 front BFG KD's, C5 ZO6 front brakes with Hawk pads all the way around, 5 months old.
Tuned professionally.
Many extras. Reasonable offers. This is a motor heads type car. Built to handle, accelerate and stop better with many mods to improve reliability.

Trying to help out friend.

been looking at it on CL.

$13k is kinda where you could get a LOT of car for your money....

he has a ton of money into it, especially with all the rebuilds/updates.

looks like he needs SPD to come shine it, and get a dozen great pics, then post those up.

that would be a good toy....

If anyone has questions about the car, you can ask me too. The price is very negotiable. It ran 11.6 at 119 all day in Hawaii prior to track closing on Oahu. That was a few years back. Its been rebuilt from the engine back. More Performance in North Carolina originally did the motor. I then put a different cam, rings, bearings and oil pump in it and had the heads redone at the same time in 2009. Sure, cost seems high, but, for an LT1 she runs very good, and puts down 425 rwhp, SAE. Not bad. AC runs, drives very well and can handle very well as well as stopping. Even the steering column was rebuilt, not just the pins as most do on tilt wheels, but the housings too.
This car also has many extra parts for it. It has allot of labor put in it, just needs a new owner that can do some aesthetics for it, ie interior carpet. Has a few road chips and such, as it was a rare Corvette in that it was actually driven, and some have known from when it was originally here from 96-99.
The suspension is also set up for autocrossing with ZO7 springs, new ball joints, bushings, tie rods, bearings, studs and some trick pieces from Vette Brake and Products and Doug Rippie Motorsports. They were serious contributors into the Corvette challenge era for the C4, and their products along with the Reher Morrison ZO7 springs, were direct results of their success while racing C4's. Of course, you have to like the C4 to appreciate whats been done to it.
Anyways, let me know it there are any questions. Steve
