i ran labor day weekend and hooked on drag radials no matter what rpms i left at it hooked great. go back in a couple of weeks can't hook soft pedaling same car same setup same powerlevel. what makes some weeks hook better than others? i have experienced this on more than one occasion. i have watched the track being prepped and sometimes no more is done to the track than spraying it. other times the buffing pad is drug and the track is sprayed. what determines the amount of effort put into the track prep? do you base it on the turn out to save money or is other things involved?

Pretty much what it comes dwn to is havin more race tires then street tires. Racin tires lay rubber dwn which makes da track hook, street cars wit regular tires pull the VHT (glue) up as well as the rubber..... when u got Joe Dirt out there with 40lbs of tire pressure n leavin da line like he has a 4500 stall n a bone stock car track won't b as good..... so what it comes dwn to is how many "Joe Dirts" round robin da track!!!

In the drivers meeting we will let the drivers agree on break down of purse. We would like to see it stretched out a little.
