Terry, Contact Patrick James with pro-systems carbs. Give him all the info you have about your combination and he will recommend a carb for you. You can go online and fill out their form there. They have built two carbs for me and hit the nail on the head both times around.

It depends on what you get. I think a standard 4150 starts at around 700 or so. It will be built to your combination. I have a Nitrous Pro IV version, it cost more than my first carb. I'm still on a 4150 flange. The Dominators are more. I think I paid around 850 or so, I will have to pull my build sheet to see what the number was. They are good at what they do, and will talk to you as much as you need them too.

Sounds like you need a bigger motor.

If you are thinking that you may need a larger carb, then start stacking open spacers under the carb. enlarging the plenum will make the current carb appear larger to the engine. an increase in jet size would probably be in order also if you do this
a carb that is in tune of the same size should run the same regardless of who's carb it is another thing, is before you spent alot of money on a carb, I would change the intake to one with more equal runners. the rpm or super vic both look much better to me than the vic jr
