Default Dyno Shootout

Looking for some feedback. I Finally found a mobile dyno that was available. The cost is $1,800 plus they meet the proceeds from the first 25 cars($50 for 3 pulls). We are having a Import v/s Domestic race on Saturday October 12 and want to see if this would be remotely feasible.

The plan is to have a Dyno Shootout that will pay $500 in each class(Import & Domestic) to the winner. What are the pros and cons and who would be interested in making some pulls for the $$$. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

25 cars in one day seems like a lot.

SG, we have some pretty fast imports coming in town. I've been up to Farmington Dragway twice promoting this event and there is a good bit of low 6 sec imports coming. They will definately give alot of street domestics a run for there money.

The bad thing is, even if they don't get 25 cars they still will get $1,800.

And if they do get 25 cars, that's $3,300 they recieve including the initial $1,800.

I wouldn't mind doing it just to dyno the car, but we'll already be out of town with it that weekend.

I can tell you 25 cars in a day is rough. Our dyno days start at 9am and run till 7-8pm and we usually can get 20-25 cars on.

Yes, Mark. Anyone can enter the dyno Shootout. They are stating that they can do more than 25 cars in 8 hrs.

I'd be interested to put a lottery ticket in for $500.
