The HPFD failures are pretty much fixed on the newer BMWs. I like mine. Although, My X5 was problematic. Had to go.

Most people are saying the driving experience of the 4 series is not very good.

The HPFP issue finally got fixed. 76K is crazy! I really like the 4 series but I really really want the new M3/M4. I had the E46 M3 with the N/A straight 6. It cost what the regular 3 series cost now. If they are asking that for the 435 M-Sport then the M4 is going to be 90k??

I have read/heard that too! A lot of it has to do with the steering. It's become more targeted towards luxury and less towards spirited driving.

an e92 m3 could be optioned to 89k last i checked. I would fully expect to see M3/M4's shoot over 100k... M5's are like 125k right now i believe.

I want to know what in the hell people are doing legally to be able to afford these things new... and in the volumes i see them.

speaking of old m3's... my buddy picked up a E36 M3 for like 4500 and turned it into a race car and won the South East Time Trails SCCA division and recently picked up a E46 M3 for something like 10k

Sadly they have slipped right out my price range. For 100k I'd start looking at the GTR.

I love the E36s and E46s. They are getting pretty cheap to own!
